January can sometimes be a crazy month for those involved in family law.  It was good to have a break from the law and from posting.  However, it’s time to get back into the saddle!

So what’s been happening?

Best Wilson Buckley Family Law named in Doyle’s Guide for third time

BWB has again been recognised as a leading family law firm in Queensland.

“The 2015 listing of leading Queensland based Family lawyers details individuals practising within the areas of  family law, matrimonial and custody matters in the Queensland legal market who have been identified by their peers for their expertise and abilities in these areas.”

Directors Kara Best, Reagan Wilson, and Dan Buckley have been recognised as leading family law lawyers by Doyle’s Guide.  This is the third time that the firm has been recognised and we are now considered a mid-tier firm joining the ranks of Cooper Grace Ward, Damien Greer Lawyers, Hirst & Co, Jones Mitchell, Rice Naughton, and Ryan Kruger.

Hello and Goodbye

Sadly, we have lost two of our ranks of recent times.  Stephanie Wilkinson has been called to London and we trust that she will have a fabulous time.  Stephanie has taken leave and we are counting down the 24 months until her return.  Melita Herbert has decided on a change of career and will shortly join the ranks of our friends across the street at Colliers as a real estate agent.

We wish both Steph and Melita all the best.

We have recently welcomed two new practitioners, Neal Wood and Zoe Adams to our Toowoomba Office and Daniel Coates to our Brisbane Office.
